Logistr ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Speech mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo (if provided via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In).
- Audio Recordings: When you record a speech, we temporarily store the audio file to perform analysis.
- Payment Information: If you subscribe to Speech Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details; Stripe handles all payment data securely.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the App, including features accessed, speech scores, and session duration.
- Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and troubleshooting.
- Log Data: Our servers automatically record information when you use the App, including IP address, access times, and app crashes.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Authentication Providers: If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your basic profile information as permitted by your privacy settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide Speech Analysis: Process your audio recordings using AI to generate transcripts, detect filler words, and provide feedback.
- Improve Our Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features and user experience.
- Manage Subscriptions: Process payments and manage your Pro subscription status.
- Communicate With You: Send service-related notifications, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support.
- Ensure Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
3. Data Processing and AI
3.1 Speech Analysis
Your audio recordings are processed as follows:
- Upload: Audio is uploaded to Google Cloud Storage (Firebase) for temporary storage.
- Transcription: Audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for speech-to-text transcription.
- Analysis: The transcript is analyzed using AI (OpenAI GPT or your configured custom AI provider) to generate feedback.
- Storage: Analysis results are stored in your account. Original audio files are retained for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted.
3.2 Custom AI Providers (Pro Feature)
Pro users may configure custom AI providers. When using a custom provider, your data is sent to your specified endpoint. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party AI providers you choose to use.

7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Portability
You can access your speech history and analysis results directly in the App. To request a full export of your data, contact us at privacy@logistr.ai.
7.2 Correction
You can update your profile information in the App's Settings.
7.3 Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion:
- Your account information is permanently deleted
- All speech recordings and analyses are deleted
- Active subscriptions are canceled (no refunds for partial periods)
7.4 Marketing Communications
We do not send marketing emails. Service notifications can be managed in your device settings.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
- Secure authentication with Firebase Auth
- Regular security assessments
- Access controls limiting employee access to user data
- PCI-DSS compliant payment processing via Stripe
However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
Speech is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@logistr.ai, and we will delete such information.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from your country. By using Speech, you consent to this transfer.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for such transfers.
11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to Know: You can request information about what personal data we collect and how it's used.
- Right to Delete: You can request deletion of your personal data.
